Ever had something for a while before you realised what it can do?

The other day I was driving my car and I noticed a number in the top corner of one of my display screens....anyway after wondering what it was I realised that it was the number showing what gear I was in. Not only that, it then showed me what gear I should be in when I needed to change it!

Now I got my Car in October and this has been staring me in the face for the last few months, however, I have only just noticed it!

This is not really a surprise as when I had my last GPS watch I had it for well over a year before I realised I could see how many calories I had burned on a run!

When it comes to technology I am impatient, I just want something to work. I cant be bothered with the hassle of setting everything up, I just want the end product.

The same can be said about exercise - we often don't realise what our bodies can do, or we are impatient and want the end result without putting the effort in!

Our bodies are robust and are designed to move! I often have people say to me that they can't do bootcamp as they aren't fit enough..........the benefit of the sessions are that you can work at your own pace, not many people start exercise sessions with their fitness at the full potential! Also you have to be patient, you don't get results after one session and there is no quick fix!

Being consistent, being open to trying something new and realistic when it comes to timescales of results is what will inevitably bring results.

When it comes to my impatient with technology I let the experts sort it out.....the same can be done for exercise!
